Regulatory submissions and advocacy

I write submissions and inquiry evidence for financial services associations, and build the member evidence that makes regulators and parliamentarians listen.

What makes a submission land?

Evidence the reader can't get anywhere else, framed around the decision in front of them. Most submissions restate a position. The ones that change outcomes give the regulator data, a workable alternative and a reason to choose it.

What do I deliver?

  • Submissions to Treasury, ASIC, APRA, AFCA, state governments and parliamentary committees

  • Member surveys and evidence bases that turn members' experience into numbers a regulator can use

  • Briefing packs and hearing preparation for the people who have to front up

  • Coordinated positions across associations, because when the industry fights itself, consumers pay the tax

Who is this for?

Associations speaking for their members, and firms that need their own voice in a consultation that will change how they operate.

When should we bring you in?

As soon as a consultation is announced, or before. The strongest submissions start from evidence gathered before the paper drops, so the response can lead the conversation instead of reacting to it.

Will the submission sound like us?

Yes. A submission speaks for your organisation (and, for an association, your members), so it's written in your voice and goes out under your name. My job is the thinking and the drafting behind it.
